Merino 30/8Nm – Pastel Pink – 815

Description

This 100% merino wool yarn is spun and dyed in Italy. It is relatively thick for a merino and weaves easily to make a soft cloth with a firmer handle than you would expect from a 2 ply merino. It is suitable for scarves, wraps and blankets and we would recommend it to new handweavers working on either rigid heddle or shaft looms.

Also suitable for knitting: UK “4 ply” US “Sport weight” and crochet: 3mm to 3.25mm hook.

Colour fastness is good and there is little shrinkage when washed.

Construction is four S-twisted 30/2Nm ends S-twisted together to form a 30/8Nm yarn.

Washing instructions: Hand wash at 30 degrees C. Do not wring. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat.

Put up is 200g on cone.
