Line

« Back to Glossary Index

Line is a type of linen spun from long flax fibres. It is more common than tow (short fibre) linen. The long fibres wrap tightly around each other to create a strong , absorbent yarn. It is suitable for both warp and weft.

Line for weaving is available as both single and two ply yarns.
