Toika shuttles are made from carefully selected birch and finished with a clear varnish.
This shuttle has a solid bottom, and measures 28cm in length and is 2.3cm deep (11″ x 7/8″). The spindle will take up to a 13cm cardboard pirn, homemade paper spools, and most makes of plastic bobbin. It weighs 86g and is shaped to fit nicely in the hand to throw and catch.

I love these Toika shuttles. The shape fits my hands so well, and they glide through the shed so easily. The are well made and finished. The packaging is well designed (rather like a large Toblerone triangle!) so it arrived in mint condition.
